Right, because I'm far too tempted, this is opening up much quicker than I'd planned. :D Thanks go to those who gave me prompts (and if you want to add some, do feel free - it's never too late).

Right. Here's how this works.

Here are Thirty Flavours of Torchwood.

You pick a prompt. Then, for that prompt, you pick any member of the Torchwood Team (past or present) or any such combination you please, add an extra condition or two if you want, and I write it for you in the comments.

The idea is that I write a drabble-size piece, but they may start at 100 words and head off into the sunset... And I will put the whole set in one post when they're done, for neatness' sake. :)

Crossovers are allowed, I suppose, but I'm not too well aware of many other fandoms (not even Buffy) so be cautious...

Eek. I hope this works. ^_^'

270 words. :) Hope you like it!

Reminisce If You Must, But Don't Forget About Now

“So she was blonde and… what was it, nineteen?”

The Doctor, walking into the atrium of the TARDIS, turned on his heel and walked straight back out before Jack and Martha saw him. Admittedly, he’d been slow to stop talking about Rose, but now the tables were turned and someone else was doing the reminiscing, he’d just about had enough of it.

Jack glanced over his shoulder, sitting next to Martha on the double seat, with his feet up on the TARDIS consoles, and said, “I think that might have done it.”

Martha glanced back as well, and asked, “Do you think he’ll stop mentioning her at every opportunity, then?”

Grinning, Jack said, “With a bit of luck, he’ll even remember we exist.”

Martha smiled at him, then looked back quickly, hissing, “He’s coming back,” and then saying, louder, “So you were dancing on an invisible spaceship.”

“In the middle of the Blitz,” Jack confirmed, hearing the Doctor growl in exasperation and leave again.

“Why?” Martha asked, and he jumped up and grabbed her hand, pulling her to her feet and saying, “Because I like dancing,” as he swept her into a waltz, pleased by her yelp of surprise, and wondering if he’d managed to distract her enough to forget about Rose as well.

“I especially like dancing with pretty girls,” he grinned, and she laughed, and said for him, “And pretty boys.”

“Pretty aliens,” he suggested, twirling them around the TARDIS’s main column.

“Pretty robots?” she asked, and now he laughed, saying, “You know, that’s one thing I never tried. Although there was this time on Byara Two, when…”
