Fandom: Torchwood (shock horror!)
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Jack/Ianto
Word Count: 400
Summary: Bathtime?
Prompt: Jantolution Challenge #10, FLUFF
A/N: Sequel alert! This will ONLY make sense if you've read Knight in Harlequin Armour, which is actually kind of a hidden fic of mine. It's a thousand words long, but without reading it this one will be very, very random...
Good Clean Fun
When Jack walked into the bathroom and found Ianto kneeling in the bath with the shower running, wearing nothing but swimming trunks and rubber gloves, he stopped in his tracks, stared for a second, then walked out and tried again.
Ianto was still there, though now also glaring at him.
He clasped his arms around himself, leaned back against the doorframe, and said, “Okay. This is new. Did I miss something?”
“Cedric’s filthy,” Ianto told him. “I’m not even going to ask.”
“Nothing to do with me,” Jack claimed, attempting to look innocent. He moved over to the bath and looked down at their lodger, his four corners pinned to the base of the tub with packs of soap and bath salts, rippling piteously in his attempts to get free. He was mostly dirty beige, though patches of his surface were now considerably whiter, and Ianto twisted to hold the sponge he was wielding under the shower for a few moments.
“Well, whatever happened to him, he needs cleaned,” Ianto said, rinsing the sponge and turning back to scrub at their trembling shower curtain again. “And really, for something that’s meant to like water he’s kicking up a hell of a fuss.”
Jack made a vague noise of agreement, then reached down and picked up one of the packs of bath salts, asking, “What are you using there, anyway?”
Cedric snatched a corner free, tipped off his other restraints, and dived on Ianto. With a muffled (but still evidently furious) cry of Jack’s name, Ianto was wrestled over and flattened in the bottom of the bath, with Cedric wrapped around his wrists and ankles and managing to stick to the enamel well enough to hold him in place. Cedric peeled away from Ianto’s face and grabbed the sponge while his captive gasped for breath.
“Jack, help,” Ianto demanded, struggling uselessly, and Jack raised both eyebrows.
“Looks to me like he decided it’s your turn.”
“That’s – not – helpful,” Ianto gasped, squirming as Cedric set about him with the sponge. “That tickles! Jack! Make him stop!”
Jack grinned, and started unbuttoning his shirt.
Between giggles, Ianto managed to croak, “What are you doing?”
“You told me to help,” Jack pointed out, kicking off his shoes and yanking his socks off. “So I’m going to help.”
“Help which of us?” Ianto asked breathlessly, and Jack winked.
“Well. That’s the real trick, isn’t it?”
