... until the end of the current Jantolution challenge. I'm frantically working on a fic for the My Immortal prompt, and busy turning over a few drabble ideas as backup in case I don't type quick enough, and I've already covered Himalaya, Crack!fic, and Jack Returns with Tourism in Lockdown, but - and this is the key point - I have no idea what to do with the Harry Potter prompt.

None at all. This doesn't usually happen to me.

Hmph.

Anything you guys want to see (preferably a reasonably short idea...)? Otherwise I'll have to try and think of something very quickly, and it probably won't be any good.

But I have to have a fic ready for it! I've completed every Jantolution challenge so far, it's a matter of pride/obsessive-compulsiveness now... (Mara, you have me more than hooked. *shakefist* :P)

Darnit.

Eeeee! You're writing! Awesome. ^^

Re: Harry Potter: I caught a HP/TW crossover bunny a while back. Jack & co spot some suspicious (possibly alien) activity somewhere in the UK and go there to investigate. It turns out, that it's in fact the Final Battle (or a random fight) between Harry and Voldemort (or random Order members vs Death Eaters). Which leads to lots of confusion ("You aren't aliens?!") etc. I hadn't thought about an actual plot or how it should end yet...

I thought about writing it myself, but for some reason I still can't write TW fic. *face palm* So I hope it's of some use to you. :)

As if I ever wouldn't be writing! :D

Hm. :) Interesting idea, though I ran away terrified from the HP fandom after beginning one fic and never actually finishing it, it was so bad...

*pats plotbunny* If I can give it a good home, I will. Otherwise I'll try and feed it and give it back eventually. :)

This challenge doesn't seem to be very popular... only 7 fics at the moment. So I'm really happy you're participating. :D

But even 7 is already a lot more than most [livejournal.com profile] potent_serpent challenges get, LOL.

:) Should be two more fics from me, unless I cop out and do a last minute combination to get them both done. The My Immortal one is being awkward to write...

(And I keep getting distracted by other prompts too. If I hadn't sworn never to post on flashfic, I'd be sorely tempted. Their challenge at the moment is Lost In The Hub, I think. And I was already writing one of them, darnit. :D)

Hee. :) Maybe Jack/Ianto just attracts more drooling fans fic writers than Harry/Blaise...

Heh. Considering that Blaise was only mentioned 43 (44?) times in all HP books together, that shouldn't surprise me. :P (They do exchange filthy and interested looks, though.) More than half of all Harry/Blaise fics in existence is written by me or people I know, haha. Quite sad, really. ^^;

(I saw the icons of those quotes and cackled to myself for quite some time. You may have convinced me. :D And go you for encouraging a whole crack squad of fic writers!)

(Hee. I almost convinced a random guy in the line at Waterstone's that Harry is actually madly in love with Blaise. Until [livejournal.com profile] sivullinen and [livejournal.com profile] wilshirist started laughing, that is. LOL. [/random])

If you don't mind me butting in here, if you need a lyric prompt Nerina Pallot's songs are very good.

Just thought I'd say

Ooooh, thanks! :D

I've never heard of Nerina Pallot (..I don't own that many CDs and hardly listen to anything else, LOL), but I'll definitely look it up. :)

'Very Good Sir' ( which I have always thought sounds apropriate for Jack and Ianto) 'Idaho' and (my personal favourite) 'Blood is Blood' are the one's that I see as her best.

Haven't found a clip of 'Very Good Sir' yet, but I really liked the other two! Have put them on the list. Am going to talk about the prompts with my co-mod tomorrow. :)

Thank you! :D

Okay, I think it's such a good song and is very Jack/Ianto, but Blood is Blood my fave song!
