In school. Shadowbyrd's off. Hope she's not ill...
Watched Small Worlds with Mum last night (Shadowbyrd tape, not the repeat on at five to two in the morning... Ugh. Silly BBC Three) and she liked it. She's not a great fan of ick and gore, so she's wary of Countrycide (which I'm bizarrely looking forward to, considering how I disliked it the first time round. Maybe it's just the lure of Ianto in jeans, but meh).
Got smacked by another couple of ideas over the weekend, and OH MY I adore two of them. So very... different. I'm wondering if I can do them justice.
I'm also wondering if RTD has a public email address. *ponders* (EDIT - he doesn't.)
Ha. Yeah.
People (one person) keep (keeps) trying to look over my shoulder and see what I'm writing in Word at the moment. No such luck, my not-so-sneaky friend. Writing at 50% in the safe knowledge that the printer isn't working (so even if he tries to hit print when I'm not looking he won't get anything) is quite a comfort.
I like my icons. I intend to make more. Maybe I'll accidentally plotbunny myself in the process.
But, ah, rewatching is good for the fanficcer's brain. And then explaining things to Mum. Many little threads become tied off or weave themselves into new tapestries. Purdy.
I'm wondering if I can convince Mum to watch Countrycide tonight. And Greeks Bearing Gifts tomorrow. Then she only has to see They Keep Killing Suzie ('cause Random Shoes was so... disconnected... that it has little bearing on the rest of the series. I mean, how many fanfics spring from those events? It didn't inspire anybody much, did it?) and then she's all caught up. Whoo. We'll make a fan of her yet.
