I've just been to Shadowbyrd's lviejournal. Comparing her and Tinywings to me, the one main difference is that they mention other people. Frequently...

Ayi... I just post a list, then bounce around when something great happens.

Nothing particularly great has happened.

Time for the list!

Ah, no change anyway.

Some research done for the "Lost" Challenge fic - I've got a lot of info about the Ninth Legion, Amelia Earhart, the Mary Celeste and the Bermuda Triangle floating around on my PC now. And I know enough about Atlantis without any research.

Heh heh heh.

That should give some tantalising clues to my little fic.

Shadowbyrd came round to mine today - I made her watch a MacGyver episode, but she wasn't converted. (Probably because she was also reading a Star Wars Graphic Novel at the time... :P)

We went to see I, Robot, as well. I was shocked when they quoted the Three Laws of Robotics word for word in the beginning: Asimov always said that nobody except for him would ever be allowed to do that... So either they've gained his permission posthumously, or they figured that when they bought the rights to the stories they got the Three Laws as well.

Humph. I'll stand by Asimov. If ever I write a Robot fanfiction, I won't quote the Laws.

Other than that, it was fairly good, and they actually managed to use the Laws and the characters (Susan Calvin, Sonny, Viki, Alfred Lanning) more or less as they should have turned out. Susan was a bit over-emotional, for her... but otherwise they were okay.

So, having gone in with very low expectations, I'm quite pleased with it. Whether I'd buy it on video or DVD (the ultimate test for a film) I'm not too sure...

I saw King Arthur recently, as well. Not too bad... But my mum and I agreed that there's no way Clive Owen can stay in the running for Bond after that. Planks don't play spies. (In other woods... I mean words, he was wooden.)

Hmm. But if Hugh Jackman (the only one who seems capable) gets to be Bond... then will the plot be that James loses his memory? That's about all poor Hugh ever gets to play these days...

And! Random film trivia for fans of LotR or Van Helsing.

David Wenham also appeared in Moulin Rouge...

Playing AUDREY!
