Whoot, I fixed my arrow!

Ahee. Not my arrow.

I borrowed five from Keith at archery. One I broke, properly. He took it away and gave me another.

Another one, the point (they have metal points glued on the end) started to come off after it was pulled out of the target too quickly (not by me).

To fix it? Naturally, light a candle and turn the metal point in the flame for a few seconds. Then put the point on a hard surface and push the arrow back into it. Then run the point under cold water and listen to the fierce hiss...

Then leave it alone for quite some time.

And now it's fixed! Yay! I have five arrows to shoot again!

Interestingly, at archery on Monday Charel (pronounced Chawl) brought a blowpipe... And I hit gold with it. Everyone else that tried was out in blue or black. Oooh, the smugness.

Archery targets, for those that don't know, go out in rings of colour. Gold is the centre, then red, blue, black and white. ^_^
