I'm off out to the sunshine. I have comments to reply to and fic to post and much other online stuff to do, but I trust not the internet (unless I'm wearing gloves. Which I'm not. Bonus points to anyone who gets the mangled quote).

Oh, and I have Dreamwidth invitations but that furore seems to be quiet now, I guess... Absinthefairy, you wanted one for your friend before I disappeared to Cornwall (I'll explain later), is that still the case?

I've made it my personal policy to take all speculation with a huge pinch of salt! I believe it when I see it to be honest (and my personal theory is taht RTD is too keen to portray a gay relationship as normal for me to think he's going to jeopardise that)

I don't trust the spoiler speculation, preferring to believe TPTB won't be stupid enough to alienate 98% of their fanbase. (Though one never knows...after Exit Wounds I certainly don't have much faith in TPTB for Torchwood.)

Gareth has told fans they'll like Series 3 so that give me hope.

'twas merely a "and *this* character will be making an appearance" sort of spoiler. And I was doing so well avoiding them. I only knew the two main newbies and one team-related person. Now I know more. Nothing much to cry about, I know, but I'm spoiler-phobic. I like surprises. ):

(Though, to be fair, the show has had a ridiculous amount of publicity and praise for the gay relationship side of things for me to even entertain the idea anything would change that. Not gonna happen, I think. (: *agrees with you there*)

The pictures are lovely! While the Jack/Ianto ones are great, I love the Ianto ones as well!

I find torchwood_three to be very useful when I'm trying to catch up and sort through TW stuff. That's how I found the pics!

The same thing just happened to me with a manga I read called DeathNote. =( I hate spoilers! It was a huge plot point, too, that possibly could have even been the end of the whole series!

And hey, random: What's the name of that awesome weapon book you have with all the pictures? I'm looking for a book with photos of various bladed weapons for reference--I need to learn for a comic series I'm working on and right now all my drawings look like toys. xD

Ooh, DeathNote! I read the first one and was very interested in reading the rest, then I found out One Big Spoiler which kind of killed my enthusiasm. Ahem. So I entirely and specifically sympathise with you there... *manyhugs*

Ai! I hate spoilers. The Friday that CoE was on, the Youtube video I have (the scene cut from "Meat", you know) started getting SPAMMED with Thursday's spoiler about a certain character.

And I still haven't even watched that episode yet. :(
