In the armoury, they have swords. Two of them are from the Sycorax invasion - the one the Doctor fought with (presumably recovered with the hand) and the one the Sycorax leader used (presumably recovered with the leader!). But there are others as well.
Use one of the others in the fic. Could be where it came from, or it starts doing something strange, or has to be used to fight something, or whatever you please from there. :D
