Also, very randomly, we seem to have used the same kind of alternating format for our challenge fics! Great minds think alike, eh? ^_^
*g* My choice was due to laziness/lack of time. I didn't have the time to actually piece together the two different parts smoothly so opted to do the alternating. That's what I get for waiting to the last moment.
