I can see it working like that too. Take the "she" as mid-Torchwood, place the "now" of it past Jack's disappearance and it all falls beautifully into place. I like the anonymity even more now, thanks. ;)

And it's only practice that gets people good at drabbles, really. It's a bit like writing haikus, I'd say. You have to get to the point very quickly...
