Summary: Owen's thoughts on Suzie.
Ashes
When Suzie came back, Owen’s first thoughts ran straight to X-men. Who does she think she is? Jean bloody Grey?
He avoided her from then, unsettled by those dark, cunning eyes. All the affection he’d felt for her once was gone, replaced by fear and the nagging idea that she’d used him. She’d been so interested in anatomy and psychology when they’d been together – he’d thought it was just his charms, but now he wasn’t so sure.
Later, holding Gwen, who was so near death, he wished he’d trusted his instincts and sent their Dark Phoenix back to the ashes.
