Phewee, and now to relax...

First off, dear friends-list, sorry about the mad fic-update rush there. Been meaning to transfer them over for a while... Huh. Should have backdated them or something and avoided spamming out your friends-pages. Sorry about that.

Second off, I went up to Glasgow for New Year. (: It was kinda fun, though we (a friend from Manchester also came to visit the friend in Glasgow) should perhaps have left a day earlier than we did. We were a bit exhausted, hungry and eager to be home by the time we got to the trains. Never mind that I'd developed a lovely cold by that point (*coughsneeze*, sympathy please... :P ). Oh, managed to see the first four episodes of Buffy while up there, so that's all good. Really need to sort out seeing the rest of them at some point.

Hope you all had fun for New Year's, as well. :)

Third off, my brother taped Three Men In A Boat for us to watch when I got back. First part v. good, second part clashed with something else so he taped that as well and watched the other show.

And, gods all bless the BBC, they happened to show the second Torchwood trailer (yes, that one... ;) )right after the second part. :) So I now have it on tape and am not letting him tape over it until the second series has come and gone. I don't care that it's on Youtube. If it's on tape I get to watch it on our gigantic however-many-inch widescreen TV (at least while I'm at home). :D This, naturally, is very important to me.

And I realise that I've been away on a visit to a friend's and the bulk of my post is all fangirly OMG! TW TRAILER! (again), and I should really be worried about my priorities, but let's put it this way: trip to friend's was extremely fun for the night of New Year's Eve, when we played drinking games and I got to laugh at everyone getting drunk whilst downing my vile-tasting non-alcoholic cocktail whenever I messed up (oh, you gotta love prinicples). Otherwise, it went a bit... pear-shaped. And I'll not embarrass anyone by going into details.

At least, not in an open post...

Oh! Fourth off - remind me! There's a magazine I've heard about from LJMU, taking submissions of poetry and prose and the like, but the deadline's the 31st January. I mustn't forget.

Think that's about all for now. I should really sort out my Jantolution. It's all pretty and plotty and just about sorted in my head, now I just have to write it. With three days to go, according to my computer's date/time bit... Whoops. To bed with me. Tata. :)
