Nothing makes sense...
Nov. 19th, 2006 03:44 pmIt really doesn't. I had a laughing fit a week or so ago - I was reading Interview with the Vampire, put it down, and started laughing. At nothing. And I couldn't stop for a long time. It got so I couldn't breathe and I was beginning to panic. My head hurt, everything began to be a little dizzy, and I was actually scaring my brother (good grief, he cares!) and then I managed to stop. It scared me, though.
And now everything's gone a little odd. I was checking out the fanfic100 community (shadowbyrd's affiliated - she's got Torchwood: Captain Jack Harkness. Should be fun to read!) and found someone had Obernewtyn! Nobody else has ever heard of Obernewtyn! Or so I thought, anyway. ^_^ Isobelle Carmody's the author, by the way, and there appear to be four of the five in the Obernewtyn Chronicles currently published. I found them through Point Fantasy and SF. Lovely books. Such fun. I have the first four (in three different bindings... ^_^' Eeh) but the fifth, though Amazon claims it was released on October 31st 2004, is NOWHERE. They lie.
Still, I've made a friend. And she's cool. And her friends are also Obernewtyn fans! Muahahaha! *dances*
Ahem, yes.
And as I was writing this, I got an email back from the Imaginative Writing tutor at LJMU. I finished my portfolio, see. Haven't sent it yet, admittedly, but I'm quite happy with it and he knows it's on the way now.
And I've typed up a LOT of Gold. Both fun, and productive, since there were bits I had to edit very very heavily, and NaNocountworthy. Because I wrote it today. ^_^ See, fair's fair.
Oh. And I scanned my hand. Mostly for a NaNoWriMo icon, but fun anyway. And quite true. See:
