... Well, I was going to post about the Hub

But the plumbers have come in. They arrived about ten minutes before I could make it to the kitchen to wash up, so I have no plates at the moment, since they've ripped out all the plumbing.

And by ripped out...

I rather mean:

Um. Yeah. This is in an effort to find the source of the smell the others keep complaining about, which, okay, has been pretty dreadful four or five times since we moved in. But it's not worth this...

The plumbing and cupboard underneath the sink are gone (note the pipe dripping onto the bared floor now... let's cause some damp instead of removing it, hey guys?), the cupboards and drawers with some of our crockery and cutlery (mine! All of it!) have been removed...

...the oven has been taken out...

Oh look, I found my plates! Getting to them is impossible...

And at the moment the men in question have rather literally downed tools and disappeared.

They've been gone quite a while now. And they vanished well before 12 so I'm not sure if they're on lunch or what...

Meep.

XD Bring it on. Friend of a friend did the same at the party thing last night. She paused to say, "Have you seen Watchmen?" waited for us to nod, then EXPLODED WITH SQUEE. It was quite stunning. ^_^'

(I'd just want to see them try and deal with the teeny tiny alien threat. For some reason I'm seeing lots of pratfalls and ineffectual running around... Though speed dial is a good plan. Ready in any situation!)

Heh, I inflicted that on just about everyone I know when I first saw Torchwood... even if the nod never came. <<

(AND an epic chase scene with lots of sight-gags, Yup, gotta put them right under Torchwood... because who DOESN'T want to call at one in the morning and ask Ianto if the fridge is running. >D )

Hee. ^_^' I was lucky there. Watched it with a friend ([livejournal.com profile] shadowbyrd) so I had someone to squee at from the start. But the power of squee can be pretty effective in converting new watchers, so is always good! (:

(Yes please! I want that chase now. ... Though I also now have a mental image of Ianto going to check on the fridge, and nodding to himself when he sees the chains are all still in place, and its little legs may be scrabbling at the floor but it ain't goin' nowhere... ^_^' Aheh.)
