<obligatory post of Hub2 Squee>

Okay, yes, I'm in with that crowd, the Hub2 was AWESOME. I had. THE. BEST. TIME. And I'd like to thank everyone on LJ who I ran into, spoke to in passing, hung out with, danced with, squeed with, queued with, took unexpected Intimate Encounter charity from (!thankyouthankyouthankyou!), borrowed Internet access from (thank blackbird_song (thaaankeee!), everybody, or you wouldn't have a Jantolution fic...) and generally geeked out with. (: You guys rock.

So far I only have my Bears' Day Out/Musicals photos online, so I must upload the rest tomorrow and roundup my experiences (ahemhem) with appropriate photographic illustration. (Though I don't have many photos of the guests, for some reason. I was far enough back that I didn't see too much point in taking pictures, I guess.)

PLEASE shout at me and poke me for that. I fail at recounting the fun times...

I really don't have many of the Hub. About 20 and a couple are repeats. ^_^' (And it's fine, I spent half the weekend recognising that I knew people and having no clue if I knew their names or had just chatted in a lift or something. XD It was all cool anyway.)

And awh! That's so sweet of you to say. XD They'll appreciate that. Though most people missed them going all Adrift on Sunday night... I do have incriminating photos...

I came clean to my mum that I'd already bought my Hub3 ticket, expecting something along the lines of "You're spending too much money! Stop, for the love of Rassilon!" or somesuch. Possibly without the geek references. ;) Instead, she says, "Oh good, I thought you might have done."

*facepalm* She enjoys watching me fritter away my savings... XD

I'd love to go to a massive convention like Dragon*Con but no way would I be able to afford it. Still wondering how I'm gonna get the rest of the money for the hub... checking train prices, at least it'll be cheaper, being in BMham.
I'd check the prices and save but they only do three months in advance.
still, I suppose 7 months is plenty of time to save what little money I have. And get cosplays together...

I will look forward to seeing your photos. I've finally uploaded mine to the computer (but not yet to the internet). All of my pics of the guests came out blurry! Some are probably passable if I reduce them in size enough. But not one good pic of Matt Rippy - I guess I was just so excited every time I pointed the camera at him that I couldn't keep it still. :-)
