“I don’t see why not. What’s the occasion?”

“Nothing special, really…”

“Hiding something, Ianto?”

“No, no, of course not, it’s… Oh, fine. My parents are coming to visit.”

“I see.”

“Stop smirking, Jack. It’s not funny. I’m going to have to keep them busy all weekend without letting on that I work for Torchwood. Do you have any idea how difficult that’s going to be?”

“I could help…”

“Excuse me?”

“Well, you’ve got to introduce me to them sometime, right?”

“… I’m doomed.”
