Ianto brought Jack the morning’s post, flicking through them and reporting, “Bill, bill, adverts, holiday leaflet, bill, life insurance… This one’s different. It’s addressed directly to you, care of Torchwood Cardiff. Air mail.”

“About time, too,” Jack said, holding out his hand for the letter. Ianto handed it over, then waited, not bothering to hide his curiosity.

“Oh, good,” Jack grinned, reading his letter, then waved the page at Ianto and added, much to his surprise, “I’ve got a present for you. We’ve been invited to Stargate Command.”

“What?”

“They owe me one,” Jack shrugged. “I’ll explain later. Start packing.”

Yes you should. I mean, you only have one film, ten seasons of Stargate SG-1, and three seasons of Stargate Atlantis to catch up on...

Kee. Once you start to get into it, you'll find they just sail on by and you'll be all caught up before you know it...

Ohno, wait. Don't get the Director's Cut of the film, it's so much worse than the original (and doesn't have subtitles for the Ancient Egyptian), make sure you get the shorter, cut version of the first episode (the 18 version is unnecessarily... er... over the top...) and don't start watching Atlantis until you're on about season 7 or 8 of SG1.
