Oh...

I...

Oh...

What have I done?!

I... I... I... I just...

I just turned down Cambridge.

Please excuse me while I go hide in a corner and shiver. That was a very traumatic experience.

Ooo - hon that's a big decision!
I guess if you turned it down it was because you have your eye on something that suits you better in another uni?
Where ever you choose I'm sure it will work out! *hugs*

Thanks for the hugs. *weak smile* I'm still in shock.

Well I'm no career guidance expert - but you are a fantastic writer (that's why I first friended you, so I could see your fics :) ) and your enthusiasm for this course is obvious.
Doesn't matter that it's not the most prestigious, it's your talent, enthusiasm and interest in the course that matter and will make you successful!
And you can always say you were offered Cambridge!

Mm, thanke. That's what a lot of people have said to me. And I've been saying for some time now that I'll definitely be going to LJMU, not Cambridge. Had it all decided and everything.

It was just that saying that is one thing, actually hitting the button and consigning my university application to eternity is quite another...
