Dreamwidth

I received an invite this morning - but from a rather unexpected source. (: So thank you [livejournal.com profile] smallwaldo. 'Tis very kind. ^_^

So yes, Laligin over on Dreamwidth is me, and as soon as I've eaten lunch I'll come back, reply to comments here, and stalk you lot over there if you exist there. ;)

Plus, although I have no idea how the invite system works, I shall valiantly give it a try if anyone here wants/needs an account there. (:

(Edit: Mind you, Dreamwidth's... pinkness is vaguely offputting. For some reason I find the blues of LJ easier on the eyes and much clearer to deal with. And the identical grey navigation bar at the top just seems a bit cheeky. Hm. I get the feeling unless there is absolute and complete exodus, I'm very very much staying here. Keep adding me, though. (: )

I got an invite, too, and opened an account over there. But just like with Greatest journal or Insane journal, I don't think that DreaWi (calling it DW is confusing if one is a Doctor Who fan) will become bigger than LJ. But who knows. I have my name safe over there, and I used it as a backup for all my LJ entries. I won't post there, I think, at least not in a long while. I paid for LJ and will stay here. Now I only need to figure out if I can crosspost somehow, because I want my upcoming entries to show up on DreaWi too (the backup thing).

Likewise. I found out how to crosspost from Dreamwidth to LJ, but the reverse is not true. Hm. I may just update here for a bit then re-import.

I planned on doing that, too. But my guess is that you cannot choose which posts you want to import, that you'd have to import everything, the new stuff and that what's already there, again, and that would screw up all my locked-or-not-locked settings again. Ah well, better than no backup at all I guess. :)
